In this programme there are many spiritual activities like aratis, Chanting, Shingar darshan, Guru puja and thus spiritual discourses. Also His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada gave instruction to his disciple to attend this programme without fail. If one attend all the programme and follow Four regulative principles he will surely go back home, back to Godhead.

“By regular attendance in classes on the Bhāgavatam and by rendering of service to the pure devotee, all that is troublesome to the heart is almost completely destroyed, and loving service unto the Personality of Godhead, who is praised with transcendental songs, is established as an irrevocable fact. (SB 1.2.18)”

 In every ISKCON temple after Guru puja, there is lecture on Srimad Bhagwadam. It starts from the first chapter and daily new verse is discussed. This discussion is very helpful in developing spiritual understanding by which we can change our heart from passion to compassion.

The author of Sri Caitanya Caritamrita Srila Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami, being directly instructed by the Supreme Personality of Godhead Krishna, reveals His heart through this masterpiece known as Caitanya Caritamrita, the only vernacular literature that has a commentary written in Sanskrit.
This special class is held on every Sunday. Some senior devotees are invited to give lecture on Sri Caitanya Caritamrita (Life and Teachings of Lord Caitanya). All congregation and temple devotees attend this special class. After class there is prasadam for all.
